Take the steps below to start growing your true organic and healthy fruit trees and ultimate orchard

Make a hole twice the width of your rootball and mix 50% of Bu's Blend Compost with 50% of your native soil that you dug out. Plant your tree(s) into your soil mix, make a well out to the drip line with the remainder of your native soil that you dug out, and water inside the well thoroughly.

Water every two or three days as needed.

After 1 week of planting, begin the Compost Tea regimen and use our Compost Tea for Fruits, Vegetables and Tomatoes to drench inside the well with enough tea as a normal watering.

NOTE: Each sleeve of Compost Tea has 4 tea bags in it, and each tea bag will produce up to 5 gallons of compost tea making it a total of 20 gallons of a tea drench.

Continue watering every 2-3 days or as needed in your area, and be sure to water inside the well(s) each time that first year, in order to help populate the microbes you've just added to your soil.

NOTE: If you want to add drip irrigation inside the tree well(s), then make sure you hand water at least once a week since drip irrigation does not water all areas in the well.

Continue Compost Tea drenching with our Compost Tea for Fruits, Vegetables and Tomatoes once a month thereafter, excluding the winter months.

Every year after harvesting from each specific fruit tree, excluding the winter months, compost inside the tree well(s) with Bu's Blend Biodynamic Compost at 1" throughout.  Water in the compost by hand at least once a week for three weeks after composting to incorporate it into the soil.

NOTE: You may be composting at very different times each year depending on the fruit tree species you are growing, as they have different harvesting schedules.

Continue these organic protocols, and you will have a thriving orchard each year and your soil will continue to grow.
