Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Lawn, Seed & Sod

  • DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Biodynamic Blend for Lawn, Seed & Sod

SEED COVER: (Covers up to 125 sq. ft.)

After preparing the soil, setting your finish grade, spreading your seed and rolling it, spread up to 1/8" of Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Biodynamic Blend for Lawn, Seed & Sod over your seed, then water. We recommend several light waterings per day to keep soil moist, but not overwatered or puddled. Spray your entire lawn with Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Compost Tea after your first mowing and as necessary to keep your lawn green and thriving.

SOD UNDERLAY: (Covers up to 250 sq. ft.)

After setting your initial grade for your new lawn, spread approximately 1/16” of Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Biodynamic Blend for Lawn, Seed & Sod over your native soil. Lay your sod down. For best results, broadcast a dusting of up to 1/16" of Bu's Blades over the entire area after rolling your new sod. Spray your sod with Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Compost Tea after your first mowing and then as necessary to keep your lawn green and thriving. NOTE: It is important to remember that when laying sod, the more rich organic matter like Bu's Blades you use, the better the soil beneath your sod will be.

TOPPER: (Covers up to 250 sq. ft.)

Broadcast a 1/16" dusting of Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Biodynamic Blend for Lawn, Seed & Sod over the entire lawn, then water normally. Top-dress and feed with Bu's Blades to fertilize your established lawns in Spring (April or May) and twice in the Fall (late August, and September or November). Spray your entire lawn with Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Compost Tea after your next mowing and then as necessary to keep your lawn green and thriving.

PATCH: (Covers up to 30 sq. ft.)

Patch or cover those thinning or hard-to-grow areas of your lawn with a mixture of grass seed and a 1/2”-1" layer of Malibu Compost Bu's Blades at the spot of your repair, then water in lightly several times per day. Do not let the water pool or puddle. Spray the entire lawn with Malibu Compost Bu's Blades Compost Tea after your next mowing.
